Win a Study Abroad Scholarship to Ireland

By Madison White on March 4, 2017

Always wanted to study overseas but couldn’t afford it? Education in Ireland has partnered with Go Overseas to present their largest scholarship award ever, according to a recent press release.

They’re offering 26 total scholarships to both undergraduates and postgraduates to study in Ireland. Fifteen of these scholarships are for undergraduates and the remaining 11 are for postgraduates. The scholarships are full-tuition waivers for programs across 12 different universities, polytechnical institutions, and private colleges across Ireland including the Trinity College of Dublin. These full-tuition scholarships are available in the fields of the arts, law, and medicine.

The tuition waivers vary from institution to institution but do not cover additional fees. However, two lucky scholarship winners will receive free round-trip flights provided by Aer Lingus. The scholarships will be decided on merit; however, four scholarships are reserved for students who are students of color, LGBT identified, or who have a disability.

To apply, students are asked to fill out a short questionnaire, write a short 300-word essay, and upload a creative photo of themselves with the theme of Ireland. Applications are open now but the deadline to enter is March 17, 2017.
